Tracking Control Activities for Invasive Plant Species

Controlling invasive, non-native weeds is a leading concern in ecosystem management.  Invasive species are recognized by land managers and scientists as one of the primary threats to biodiversity, plant community structure, and ecosystem processes.  Aquatechnex is services firm focused controlling invasive species in water bodies.

Aquatechnex engaged the Gartrell Group to configure a Performance Atlas® that could be updated in real-time to reflect the progress of their work. They have used the Atlas to communicate with area residents and project stakeholders about the status of their management activity and related usage restrictions in affected areas of lakes and rivers.
