One of Oregon’s Best Places to Work (according to those who know)

Gartrell Group Wins a Top Spot in Oregon’s Best Places to Work Award

We were recently surprised and delighted to learn that one of our team members had quietly nominated the Gartrell Group for the “Best Places to Work in Oregon” program, now in its 17th year.

After each of our employees completed an in-depth survey covering many aspects of their work life and experience at the firm, we were honored to be awarded the number one spot in our size class.

It’s nice to get a trophy, but this one truly stands out. We have been intentional about cultivating and preserving a supportive, playful, curious, and hard-working team culture. It has long been a key motivator and a recognized source of satisfaction for our principals and long-standing employees. More recently, newer team members have shared that this culture was a major draw when they were searching for meaningful and inspiring work.

To learn that these values resonate so broadly and consistently across our entire team is incredibly rewarding. It affirms our ongoing commitment to strong employment practices and our continued investment in making this a fulfilling place to work in multiple ways.

We have always aspired to build a company where team members can work at their growing edge, contribute to meaningful projects that make a measurable difference in the communities we serve, …and feel well-supported and recognized for their efforts. This nomination and award feel like a genuine stamp of approval from the team.

Here is a small toast to all of you. Thanks to each team member for your contributions and for the role you play in shaping the company we continue to build together. And thanks to our clients and community. We deeply appreciate the trust you have placed in us and the opportunities you have given us to learn, improve, and refine how we do our work and maintain an inspired and solid team.

Onward!
