Full Stack App Dev & Support Engineer

Position Description: 

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Application Development and Support Engineer to join our dynamic, diversely skilled team. This role focuses on enhancing, extending, integrating, and supporting enterprise mapping systems relied upon by hundreds of end-users daily.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain full-stack applications for an enterprise geospatial system

  • Collaborate with a committed team to deliver high-quality solutions with urgency and focus

  • Integrate contemporary geospatial technologies for practical, innovative use cases

  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for mission-critical applications

Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in React, Python, SQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite

  • Proven skills with AWS infrastructure, data services, and serverless technologies (Lamba) preferred

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with geospatial technologies is a plus

Experience

  • 4+ years of technical experience working in software development, solution design, and support

  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise-level software solutions

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills – what questions do you ask to get to the root of the matter?

  • Eager to learn, adapt, and perfect your work; you are curious but seek out help when needed and put it to good use

Location: Greater Portland, OR area preferred

Travel: Occasional travel
