Automating Regression Testing? Yep!

Taking regression testing to the next level with automation 🤯

It's much easier to "push a single button" to launch regression testing after an update than manually finding and checking for breaks. It saves time and eliminates a lot of room for human error.

Of course, GIS improvements are sometimes more complex than we'd like. Every automation tool is different, and automating against interactive maps can be challenging. To conquer that, we combined different solutions for locating and extracting latitude and longitude using mouse coordinates along with other methods found in Selenium. For one specific project, we surfaced functionality in the Tricentis Tosca Commander and its mobile agent to allow us to find objects on a map and to create polygons based on specific coordinates, so now our automation includes maps as well. In our solutions for clients, we can go from 15% to 45% in minutes instead of days. Because we've worked through quite a few challenges, we've become specialists at solving complexities in different ways, whether using a specific automation tool or creating our own proprietary code when needed.
